Glenn Patrick (Jasper) Miller

May 16, 1966 ~ April 24, 2019 (age 52)

Glenn Patrick (Jasper) Miller of Eaton Rapids,

Passed away surrounded by his loving family after a short battle with cancer, April 24, 2019 at the age of 52. Glenn was born in Kalamazoo, MI., May 16, 1966, the son of Glenn and Clare Nell (Johnson) Miller. He graduated from Eaton Rapids High School in 1984 and enlisted in the Army National Guard shortly after serving for 3 years. Glenn married Anne Marie Gee, July 27, 1985 and together they had two sons. He worked at Michigan Packaging in Kentwood for over 20 years and was currently employed at Meridian Magnesium of Eaton Rapids. Glenn was known for his love of playing guitar, his infectious smile and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was a hardworking family man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends telling stories and reminiscing. Glenn was very proud of his sons and all of their accomplishments and was known to frequently gush about them. He also loved his beautiful granddaughters and was always ready to show photos of them. Most of all, Glenn was a momma’s boy.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 33 years, Anne Miller; sons, Glenn Phillip (Rachel) Miller, Kyle Miller both of Ionia; granddaughters, Hailey and Lyla; parents, Glenn and Clare Nell Miller of Eaton Rapids; brothers, Rodney (Beth) Miller of Charlotte, Ronald Miller of Eaton Rapids and Glenn’s baby sister, Suzanne Miller of Haslett; mother-in-law, Jan Gee of Dimondale; brother-in-law, John (Tracy) Gee of NC; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday April 30, 2019 at the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel, 518 S. Main St. Eaton Rapids with Pastor John Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
