Linda M. Wilbur of Eaton Rapids,

Passed away May 10, 2019 at the age of 65. She was born in Steubenville, OH on February 20, 1954, the daughter of Emmit and Della (Bissell) Uselton. Linda married the love of her life, Rick Wilbur, on December 23, 1982, immediately "adopting" Rick's 3 children, Thomas, Robert, and Saunci. Linda worked for several years with the Eaton Rapids Schools as a lunch attendant while her children were attending school. She retired as the Eaton Rapids Township Supervisor in December 2008 after 16 years of service. After the death of her husband, she became a volunteer with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation National Memorial Weekend honoring families of Line Of Duty Deaths (LODD). She was also a first responder on the Local Assistance State Team (LAST), that assists fire departments and family members of LODD.

Linda is survived by her father, Emmit; sons, Thomas (Peggy) Wilbur of Eaton Rapids and Robert (Becky) Wilbur of Marshall; daughter, Saunci (Matt) Barrett of MO; “adopted” daughter Shanon (Jason) Babbage of Allen Park; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Karen (Greg) Ovall of OH; brothers, Milton (Jackie) Uselton of OH and Jack (Trina) Uselton of OH; several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Della Vanderstelt; husband, Chief Rick L. Wilbur; sister, Nancy (Uselton) Fellars; and brother, Fredrick Uselton.
