Charles Lee Sartin 

Passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan at the age of 83. Charles was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on April 2, 1937, the son of Ira and Lela (Smith) Sartin. Charles began his life as the youngest in a large, modest family where he learned to be entertaining, kind-hearted and tenacious. He was a gifted auto mechanic and spent much of his free time working on cars as both a hobby and a way of helping others. He spent the latter part of his life moving between Arkansas, Colorado and Michigan spending time with his children along the way.  His adventurous life stories and quick wit will be missed by his friends and family. 

Charles is survived by his children, Gary and Michael Sartin of Arkansas, Kelly Lincoln of Michigan, Courtney, Richard (Jacalyn) and Jaime (Oswaldo) Sartin of Colorado; stepson, Barry Carter of Colorado; beloved sister, Alice (Billie) LaDuke; niece, Donnna LaDuke of Oklahoma; life long friend, Lynn Boyd of Michigan, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as several brothers and sisters.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel, Eaton Rapids. To place online condolences or memories please visit,www.millsfuneral.com.
